Prior education, life-contact and knowledge of autism amongst non-autistic students in higher education

This poster was presented at the 2024 International Society of Autism Research Annual Meeting in Melbourne. The study found that non-autistic university students who seek or receive autism education outside research contexts have improved knowledge, and suggests that real-world exposure and targeted educational strategies could enhance stigma reduction efforts.
